GFCI Receptacles saves lives

GFCI receptacles are safety devices which are designed to disconnect power instantly in order to prevent injury or death from electrocution under certain circumstances. They are required in the kitchen and bathroom near your sinks and current code even requires them in areas like the garage. They are relatively cheap and should be replaced if they are not functioning. They should be tested periodically to ensure they are working. Here is some I came across during a recent inspection that were not working,
